About PointOne
We’re building an AI system to automate the back-office of law firms, starting with timekeeping and billing. The business of law is rapidly changing in response to AI. We’re using our entry wedge — and the rich data stream it generates — to help firms transition their businesses into the AI era.
Our team is a mix of legal, AI, and startup backgrounds from Fenwick & West, Applied Intuition, and Google. We recently raised a seed round from Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst, and several of our early customers (who asked to invest after using the product).
We are getting strong pull from the market and can’t keep up with the volume of potential leads — this is where you come in.
Who you are
You are a do-it-all startup generalist, excited to hustle and get your hands dirty.
You have:
- Some background or experience in the legal industry (or are excited to learn about it)
- Experience with different aspects of go-to-market: taking sales calls, lead generation, blog and social media content, live events, etc.
- Drive and hustle — given any objective, you’ll figure out how to accomplish it
- A positive, team player mentality
- Ability to work in person 5 days/week and travel for meetings & events
What you’ll do
You will be involved with all aspects of go-to-market, working directly alongside the CEO to plan and execute our GTM strategy:
- Executing outbound strategies to generate new opportunities
- Taking and closing sales calls
- Creating marketing and sales enablement content
- Planning and attending conferences and dinners
- Lending a hand wherever needed, eg. with operations or recruiting
This is going to be intense early-stage startup work. The person we hire will have the opportunity to become a leader and help form the company’s vision and culture as we scale.
Compensation
Mixture of cash, stock and commission, commensurate with your skills and experience.
