Job Description
As Flint’s Founding Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in developing and refining our outbound sales process. You’ll be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities, and driving early-stage conversations.
You’ll own the lead generation process:
- Prospect and research schools that fit Flint’s Ideal Customer Profile.
- Engage with decision-makers via email, cold calls, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs, pain points, and how Flint can support them.
- Schedule meetings/demos.
- Build Pipeline
- Track and manage leads in our CRM.
This role will give you the chance to directly shape and refine Flint’s outbound sales approach, making this a huge opportunity for growth and impact as we scale.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales/lead generation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and energetic phone presence
- A self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes.
- No academic qualifications or minimum number of years of experience required.
Preferred
- B2B software sales experience.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, or similar B2B tools.
- Previous experience in EdTech.
